PETSMILE Professional Pet Toothpaste in Say Cheese Flavor is a 4.2oz (119g) toothpaste for dogs and cats of any size. Its palatable flavour helps make daily dental care more positive, while the smooth formula spreads easily over the teeth and gums. The toothpaste can be used with a pet toothbrush or applied directly when brushing is still a work in progress.

PETSMILE uses its proprietary Calprox formula, a gentle mineral blend designed to help dissolve the biofilm where plaque and stains first attach. In addition, calcium, phosphates and magnesium support the normal mineral structure of tooth enamel. PETSMILE is listed by the Veterinary Oral Health Council for plaque control when used as directed.

How to use PETSMILE toothpaste

Place a pearl-sized drop on a pet toothbrush. Lift the lip gently, then brush the outer surfaces with small, controlled motions. Work gradually toward the back teeth and gum line without forcing the mouth open. For best results, brush once or twice daily.

If your pet will not accept a brush, apply a pearl-sized amount directly to the teeth and let the tongue spread it. However, brushing provides additional physical plaque removal. Reward calm behaviour and build the routine over several short sessions.

Support lifelong oral health

Home care cannot remove hardened calculus. Arrange a veterinary assessment if you notice bleeding gums, loose teeth, swelling, pain, drooling, persistent bad breath or difficulty eating. Store the tube at dry room temperature and use within one year of opening for best quality.
