How to use a flea comb
Work in a well-lit area over a light towel or paper. Make sure the coat is dry and free from painful mats. Comb small sections in the direction of hair growth, starting at the ends of longer hair and moving gradually towards the skin. Pay attention to the neck, back, belly and base of the tail.
After each pass, inspect the teeth and remove collected hair or debris into soapy water. Avoid pulling through hard tangles and reduce pressure on sensitive areas. Do not use on broken, inflamed or painful skin.
Cleaning and parasite safety
Wash the metal teeth after use, wipe the comb clean and dry it thoroughly. Avoid soaking the bamboo handle for long periods. Store the comb in a dry place where the fine teeth cannot bend.
