VET’S BEST Flea & Tick Wipes provide a controlled way to apply pest treatment to dogs 12 weeks and older. Each tub contains 50 pre-moistened wipes that can reach the coat, paws, legs, tail and stomach. They are especially convenient around areas where a spray may be difficult to control.
The active formula contains peppermint oil, eugenol from clove plants and plant-derived sodium lauryl sulfate. When used exactly as the label directs, it kills fleas, flea larvae and eggs, and ticks by contact. It also repels and kills mosquitoes. Because this is an active pest-control product, more is not better.

How to use on your dog
Read the entire label before every use. Wipe across the coat until damp, avoiding the eyes, mouth and genitals. Part the coat where needed, then massage so the product reaches the skin. Cover the labelled body areas and allow the coat to dry completely before dogs groom themselves or each other.
If another application is needed, allow two to four hours between treatments and do not exceed twice in 24 hours. Keep the container closed when not in use. These wipes are for dogs 12 weeks and older; do not use them on cats unless the exact supplied label specifically states otherwise.
Using the wipes around the home
Test a hidden area for colourfastness first. Wipe a light, even coating over suitable hard surfaces, baseboards, collars or washable pet items without soaking them. Do not use on fine furniture. Discard each wipe after use and wash your hands.
Flea control often requires treating the animal and the surrounding environment. Ask your veterinarian about an integrated prevention plan, especially for heavy infestations, sensitive dogs or households with cats.
