Description
What is the Scrub Mommy Cat-Shaped Sponge?
Scrub Mommy Cat-Shaped Sponge is a limited-edition, dual-sided cleaning tool shaped like a cat. The pack contains one pink sponge. One side uses FlexTexture for scrubbing, while the other uses ResoFoam for lathering and wiping.
Quick facts
- Brand: Scrub Daddy
- Product line: Scrub Mommy
- Product type: Dual-sided scrubber and sponge
- Shape: Cat
- Colour: Pink
- Pack size: 1 sponge
- Edition: Limited edition
- Materials named by the brand: FlexTexture and ResoFoam
How does the dual-sided design work?
FlexTexture changes with water temperature. Cool water keeps the scrubber firm for tougher residue, whereas warm water makes it softer for gentler cleaning. In contrast, the ResoFoam side creates a soapy lather and wipes up spills. The eye openings also give fingers a grip. In addition, the smile opening can help clean both sides of utensils.
Can it clean pet bowls and accessories?
Yes. Current Australian retailer information specifically positions this edition for cleaning pet accessories. For example, you can keep it as a dedicated sponge for pet bowls and related washable items. This approach helps separate pet-accessory cleaning from other dishwashing tasks. However, always follow the care instructions for the bowl or accessory itself.
Surface claims and limitations
The supplied package says “scratch free” and “resists odors.” Australian retailer information also lists non-stick pans, stainless steel and other delicate surfaces. Nevertheless, test a small hidden area first and follow the surface manufacturer’s care directions. Odour resistance does not mean antibacterial protection, sterilisation or a guaranteed replacement interval.
Care and replacement
Rinse the sponge thoroughly after each use and let it dry between cleaning sessions. The brand’s Scrub Mommy guidance and current Australian retailer listings allow sanitising on the top rack of a dishwasher. Replace the sponge if it tears, breaks down, stays soiled or can no longer be cleaned effectively.
What is not confirmed?
Pets Area could not locate a current Scrub Daddy product page for this exact cat-shaped edition. Moreover, current retailers publish conflicting dimensions. Therefore, the exact product dimensions, country of origin, material percentages, manufacturer model and barcode remain unconfirmed.
Safety
This is a household cleaning tool, not a pet toy, chew toy, grooming product or food item. Keep it away from pets during storage and use. Stop using it if pieces loosen, and do not let an animal chew or swallow any part.
