Nutrition for adult giant-breed dogs
ROYAL CANIN Giant Adult is formulated for extra-large adult dogs weighing over 45kg, from 18 or 24 months of age. Its combination of minerals and nutrients helps support bones and joints, while highly digestible proteins and dietary fibre support digestive health.
A blend of vitamins supports vitality and helps neutralise free radicals. The extra-large kibble is shaped for giant dogs’ broad jaws and encourages thorough chewing.
Ingredients
Dehydrated poultry proteins, wheat flour, animal fats, maize flour, maize, vegetable fibres, hydrolysed animal proteins, maize gluten, beet pulp, wheat gluten, minerals, soya oil, yeasts products, fish oil, algal oil Schizochytrium sp., glucosamine from fermentation, marigold meal, hydrolysed cartilage (source of chondroitin).
Additives
Nutritional additives: Vitamin A, Vitamin D3, iron, iodine, copper, manganese, zinc and selenium. Technological additive: clinoptilolite of sedimentary origin. Contains preservatives and antioxidants.

The following daily dry-food amounts are listed in low, moderate and high activity order. Choose the amount for your dog’s ideal body weight and activity level, and check the current bag for feeding guidance.
- 45kg dog: 412g, 477g or 542g daily.
- 55kg dog: 479g, 554g or 630g daily.
- 60kg dog: 511g, 592g or 672g daily.
- 75kg dog: 604g, 699g or 795g daily.
- 85kg dog: 664g, 768g or 873g daily.
- 100kg dog: 750g, 868g or 986g daily.
Adjust the amount to your dog’s body condition and provide fresh drinking water.
