Description
PetSafe Pet Loo Medium provides dogs, cats and other small pets with a consistent toilet area when outdoor access is limited. Its synthetic grass lets urine drain through an angled reinforced plastic base into a removable 2-litre waste container.
Medium dimensions and placement
The complete unit measures 62.2 × 62.2 × 12.7 cm. These are the outer product dimensions. Measure the available floor space and allow extra room to slide out the waste container. Check that your pet has enough standing and turning room and can comfortably step onto the base.
Place the Pet Loo on level ground indoors or in a covered outdoor area. Keep it accessible and in the same location while your pet learns the routine.
What is included?
- Medium synthetic grass pad
- Reinforced plastic base
- Removable 2 L waste container
- One Pee-Pod disposable tray
- Trial Wee Sponge powder
The optional Pee-Pod system uses Wee Sponge powder to turn collected liquid into a gel for disposal. Follow the supplied instructions for the pod and powder.
Introducing the toilet
Guide your pet to the grass at their usual toilet times and reward successful use. Keep the Pet Loo as a toilet-only area: do not feed, play with or allow your pet to sleep on it. Allow time for training rather than expecting immediate acceptance.
Cleaning and daily care
Remove solid waste promptly, empty the waste container regularly and flush the grass daily with warm water. Do not use boiling water, bleach, citrus products or general chemical cleaners. Follow PetSafe’s supplied care instructions for any cleaning product, and let the grass air-dry completely before reassembly.
Choosing the right size
Select by your pet’s individual body size, mobility and toilet habits, as well as the available floor space. The Medium name describes this model’s size; it is not a breed or body-weight guarantee.
