Description

Kurgo Direct to Seat Belt Tether – Blue is an adjustable car tether for use with a dog harness. The seatbelt tongue clicks into a compatible vehicle buckle, while the carabiner at the other end attaches to the harness.

Features and fit

  • Adjustable length: 15–22 inches (38.1–55.9cm)
  • All-steel hardware
  • Blue webbing
  • Direct connection to a compatible seatbelt buckle
  • Harness attachment; do not attach it to a collar

Vehicle compatibility

Kurgo describes the tether as fitting most vehicles. It is incompatible with Volvo and is not recommended for Ford F-Series trucks. Check that the connector fits and locks securely in your vehicle’s buckle before use.

Use and safety

Fit an appropriate harness to your dog, attach the tether and adjust the length to limit movement towards the driver. Follow the instructions supplied with both the tether and harness.

This tether is designed to help prevent distracted driving. It has not been crash tested and should not be represented as providing proven collision protection.

Inspect the webbing and hardware before use. Stop using the tether if any part is damaged, and follow its care label for cleaning. Keep it away from unsupervised chewing.
