How to Use the Teaser
First, hold the wand and move the plush body along the floor or through the air. Then vary the speed and direction to create prey-like movement. You can also pause behind furniture or a play tunnel before moving it again. Importantly, let the cat catch the toy sometimes so the game has a clear reward.
Use short play sessions that suit your cat’s age, mobility and interest. Also, keep water nearby and allow rest when the cat starts to tire. This toy adds movement and interaction, but it does not guarantee weight control or a behaviour outcome.
Safety and Care
Use this teaser only while a responsible person watches the cat. It is not a chew toy. Before and after every session, check the wand, plush body, seams and feather tip. Stop using it if parts loosen, fray or break. Also, prevent the cat from swallowing feathers or fabric.
Keep the toy away from the cat between sessions. In addition, avoid striking the cat’s face or eyes with the wand or feathers. Clean the surface gently when needed and let it dry fully before the next play session.
