KONG Licks Small dog lick mat is a red textured treat-dispensing mat made for supervised licking activities. Its dots, ridges and grooves hold KONG Easy Treat, peanut butter, kibble or other suitable dog food, while two suction cups attach to smooth, flat, non-porous surfaces.

Using the KONG Licks mat
Press the clean suction cups onto a clean, dry and smooth non-porous surface. Spread or place a small allowance of suitable food across the textures. KONG lists Easy Treat, peanut butter and kibble as options. Check that every ingredient is suitable for your dog and that any peanut butter or spread contains no xylitol. Include the food in the dog’s daily allowance.
The mat can provide an occupied licking activity during routines such as baths or nail trims. Suction performance depends on the surface, so test the hold before every use and reposition it if needed.
Textures, cleaning and safety
The varied dots, ridges and grooves give dogs different surfaces to explore. KONG states that the ridges may help clean the tongue and teeth, but the mat is not a substitute for regular dental care or veterinary advice.
Hand wash only, clean food from every groove and suction cup, rinse thoroughly and dry before storage. This is not a chew toy. Supervise every session, remove the mat when the food is gone and stop using it if it becomes damaged. Keep the packaging as the final reference for use and safety information.
