How to use the tear stain comb
First, soften dry residue with a pet-safe eye-area wipe or cleanser. Hold your pet’s head gently and make sure the fur is damp but not dripping. Starting below the eye, use short strokes that move down and away from the eyelid. Never pull through a hard mat or scrape the skin.
Work on one small section at a time and reward calm behaviour. If the comb catches, stop and soften the fur again. Do not use it on broken, inflamed or painful skin. Wash the comb after each session with mild soap and warm water, rinse thoroughly and dry it before storage.
