Description
GranataPet DeliCATessen Salmon & Turkey Wet Cat Food 200g is a complete, grain-free pâté for adult cats. The recipe contains 20% salmon, 52% turkey, 24.9% salmon and turkey broth, 80% moisture and 95 kcal per 100g. GranataPet makes it in Germany, and Pets Area supplies this listing as one 200g can.
Quick answer: this is a mixed fish-and-poultry recipe, not a single-protein or elimination food. It combines 20% salmon with 52% turkey and also contains salmon oil plus green-lipped mussel. A supplied English feeding image gives daily ranges by cat weight and activity, while the delivered can label remains the final authority.
Why choose GranataPet DeliCATessen Salmon & Turkey?
- Complete adult food: GranataPet formulates it as a complete feed for adult cats.
- 72% salmon and turkey: the recipe specifies 20% salmon and 52% turkey.
- Grain-free recipe: the listed composition contains no grain and no added sugar.
- High-moisture format: 80% moisture can contribute to a cat’s total daily water intake.
- Useful 200g can: the size works well for measured meals and mixed-feeding plans.
- Made in Germany: GranataPet cold-fills the ingredients and then gently steam-cooks them.

Full composition: salmon and turkey meat 72% (salmon 20%; turkey 52% consisting of muscle meat, heart and liver), salmon and turkey broth 24.9%, pomegranate seeds 1%, salmon oil 1%, minerals 1% and green-lipped mussel 0.1%.
Therefore, the recipe contains several animal sources. Do not treat it as a salmon-only, turkey-only or novel-protein food. Compare the delivered can label before feeding because GranataPet may update formulations.

Nutritional additives

Daily feeding guide
The supplied GranataPet feeding image gives the following 24-hour starting ranges. Use the indoor/neutered column or active-cat column that best matches your cat, then adjust for age, breed, body condition, treats, other foods and veterinary advice.
| Cat weight | Neutered and/or indoor | Active |
|---|---|---|
| 2–3kg | 105–140g daily | 170–225g daily |
| 4–5kg | 175–200g daily | 270–315g daily |
| 6–7kg | 225–250g daily | 355–390g daily |
| 8–10kg | 275–320g daily | 430–500g daily |
At 95 kcal per 100g, one 200g can provides approximately 190 kcal. As a result, some active cats need more than one can, while smaller or indoor cats may need less. Weigh portions, count treats and any dry food, and follow the delivered label if it differs from the image.
Transition, life stage and allergy boundaries
Introduce GranataPet gradually over about five to seven days when changing foods. Divide the daily amount into comfortable meals and provide fresh water in a separate bowl. GranataPet labels this recipe for adult cats, so kittens, pregnant cats and nursing cats need food selected for their life stage.
Salmon & Turkey contains fish, turkey and green-lipped mussel. Consequently, it may not suit cats with fish, poultry or mollusc reactions. “Grain-free” does not mean allergy-free, and this is not a hydrolysed veterinary diet. If a veterinarian has prescribed a diet, follow that plan until the veterinarian approves a change.
Moisture, skin, joints and claim boundaries
Wet food can contribute to water intake, but 80% moisture does not make this a urinary treatment or a product that prevents stones. Seek urgent veterinary care if a cat strains to urinate, repeatedly visits the tray, cries, passes little or no urine, vomits or becomes lethargic.
Salmon oil supplies fat in the recipe, while GranataPet promotes green-lipped mussel and pomegranate seeds as functional ingredients. However, this everyday food does not diagnose, prevent or treat skin, immune or joint disease, and it cannot replace veterinary care.
Serving and storage
Serve the food at room temperature for aroma and comfort. After opening, cover and refrigerate unused food, then use it promptly according to the can label. Finally, discard food after it sits warm for an extended period or shows an unusual smell, texture, swelling or damage. Store unopened cans in a cool, dry place.
