Low-lactose milk powder for animals
Di-Vetelact Nutritional Milk 375g is an Australian-made powdered milk replacer for orphaned or early-weaned animals and a nutritional supplement for later life stages. Made with Australian and New Zealand dairy, it contains FOS prebiotics, vitamins, minerals and taurine. Contains milk.
Choose the right feeding guide
The mixing concentration and daily amount depend on the animal’s species, age and body weight. Use the manufacturer’s dog and puppy guide or cat and kitten guide to choose Dilution A or B and the appropriate feeding schedule. Horses, farm animals, small animals and marsupials require their own species-specific guides.
Weigh young animals regularly and seek veterinary advice for orphaned infants, poor growth or an animal receiving dietary treatment. Do not apply a puppy or kitten feeding schedule to another species.
Preparation and hygiene
Sterilise feeding equipment by boiling for five minutes. Boil safe drinking water and allow it to cool to approximately 40°C. Measure the powder and water precisely according to the selected feeding guide. The supplied 20mL scoop holds 9g of powder.
Mix until smooth, then shake or stir thoroughly before each feed. Serve promptly, or refrigerate prepared milk and use it within 24 hours. Always provide fresh drinking water. Prepared milk can also be mixed with food when using the appropriate supplementary-feeding guide.
Storage
Store the powder in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Reseal the container after use and, for best results, use within one month of opening. Check the supplied label before feeding, particularly when managing an ingredient sensitivity.
