Pets Area Loyalty & Rewards Program Policy

Program to reward your ongoing support. Please read the following terms and conditions to understand how the program works and how we protect both our business and our valued customers.

🎁 Program Overview
Earn 1 point for every $1 AUD spent (excluding shipping and discounts).
Every 100 points = $5 AUD discount.
Points can be used on any product on our website: https://www.petsarea.com.au.
No membership fees. All customers are automatically enrolled upon their first purchase.

✅ Earning Points
Points are earned on the order subtotal only (excludes GST, discounts, and shipping).
Points are credited after payment is confirmed.
Cancelled, refunded, or unpaid orders will not earn points.
Points may take up to 24 hours to appear in your account.

💳 Redeeming Points
Points can be redeemed at checkout through your online Pets Area account.
You can redeem any number of points, as long as your balance is sufficient.
Points can be used in conjunction with discount codes, promotional offers, and product bundles.
Points cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another account.

⛔ Abuse & Misuse Policy
To maintain the fairness and integrity of our program:
Points are non-transferable and must be used by the registered account holder only.
Creating multiple accounts to earn more points may result in account suspension and point forfeiture.
Any suspicious or fraudulent activity (e.g. fake orders, coupon stacking exploits, etc.) will lead to immediate program disqualification.
Pets Area reserves the right to adjust or deduct points due to order cancellations, returns, or system errors.
We may perform periodic audits of loyalty accounts to detect misuse.

🔁 Returns & Refunds
If an item is returned or refunded, the corresponding earned points will be deducted.
If points were used toward a refunded purchase, those redeemed points will be returned to your balance.

📆 Expiry of Points
Loyalty points are valid for 12 months from the date of earning.
Expired points are not recoverable or reissued.

⚠️ Program Modifications
Pets Area reserves the right to change, pause, or terminate the Loyalty & Rewards Program at any time without prior notice.
We will notify customers of major updates via our website or email.
